Following a car accident 10 days previously, my Mother who suffers with fibromyalgia & arthritis in her spine was experiencing intense pain and had not slept in 24hrs. However as a result of an administrative error, we waited 6hrs in A&E - to the point of collapse. Dr Kishan immediately recognised the level of distress that my Mother was in & addressed the situation with intravenous pain killers, before undertaking further physical and aural examination. His manner was professional, attentive and sympathetic - despite the chaos & pressure of a busy A&E. He conducted his work diligently and without distraction whilst we were in his charge and I had confidence in his judgement and opinion. Once treatment had been administered, Dr Kishan provided a quiet refuge for a period of observation & returned to his work in A&E. Once he was satisfied with our treatment, he provided us with a note to present to Mother's G.P. referencing what he had done & how to proceed further (which proved very useful). Dr Kishan sacrificed his shift break to attend to my Mother's needs during a very busy time - for which I am extremely grateful. Such levels of "customer service" are very rare and should be commended. In the unfortunate event that you find yourself in A&E, you will experience a team that makes the NHS world class - Dr Kishan is in that team - going above & beyond the call of duty. I could not have asked for better care and attention from an astute and knowledgeable professional. Many thanks.

Myself and my pregnant girlfriend were in a RTC and were taken to Northampton General Hospital. Dr Rees looked after us with fantastic care all the way through our time at the hospital. He couldn't do more for us. We would 100% recommend Dr Rees. Thank you for all your help. Wayne, Charlotte and bump.

On Sunday 10th January I was taken to Northampton General hospital by the paramedic due to respiratory problems and high blood pressure. Was seen very quickly by the staff in A&E who were all very proficient and caring. Out of this excellent crew I was struck by the medical care provided by Dr Kishan Rees. Although working in a frantic A&E department, Dr Rees spend a considerable amount of time listening and asking very pertinent questions. I mentioned that I had suffered with chest problems on and off for the past twenty years and said that my local GPs would often brush it off saying you’ve got slight asthma or that there is fact nothing really wrong with me (it’s just a cold and will pass). Dr Rees’ thorough examinations revealed that my respiratory system was not functioning correctly and said there was merit for me to visit a specialist. In addition to entering his notes on the hospital computer system to be forwarded to my local doctors, Dr Rees went the extra mile and hand wrote a note to my GP, stressing the importance and highlighting his recommendation for me to be referred to a respiratory specialist. Yesterday I saw my GP and thanks to his note, I have now been referred to a respiratory specialist. Something is now being done about an issue that has plagued me for 20 years. I am without doubt very grateful to Dr Rees for his assistance and attention to detail. Fantastic physician - maybe many could take a leaf out of his book? Nigel Swaby

At a time, when you are most vulnerable, you need to surround yourself with people you can trust, within hospitals you don't get any say in who treats you, but if we did then we would have asked for Kishan Rees, it was as though we were being looked after by a member of our family only with a better education :). If you find yourself in the hands of Dr Kishan Rees, relax in the knowledge that if anything can be done to help you, he will do his utmost to make sure it happens. Many thanks Kishan. It's refreshing to find enthusiastic, motivated, skilled, people like Kishan, not only for today's care, but in pioneering new ideas for our future doctors everywhere.
